Diversity in clinical trials

At eMQT we believe that DIVERSITY improves outcomes for all.

Bringing new medicines to African patients through involvement in pharmaceutical-led clinical trials helps to address the gap around the need to increase diversity in clinical trials. Engaging diverse stakeholders in a collaborative manner and breaking boundaries between research experience and multiple stakeholder-engagement processes will facilitate knowledge exchange and enhancement.

Our stakeholders

Through IENSIGHT, we aim to educate four distinct groups of stakeholders on clinical trial requirements for the global trials through training and sharing of procedures and guidelines for conducting high quality, Good Clinical Practice compliant global trials. For patients, who are at the core of everything we do, we offer courses on what clinical research and trials can mean for them, how involvement brings benefits to individuals and the community and to help dispel the myths and understand the language used. Capacity and capability building through IENSIGHT supports the use of technology enabled innovation to ultimately educate, train and inform all stakeholders about their roles and responsibilities in the conduct of global clinical trials and delivery of high-quality data.
